The story of furniture factory Leo-Matti Ojala Oy officially began in 1972. By this time, Leo-Matti already had a long experience with tinkering furniture in the barn of his home, with the help of family and friends.
Such was Leo-Matti's passion for entrepeneurship that the company was set up as soon as he was old enough to do so - and since then, there has been no looking back.
Today, the manufacturing of our furniture factory is in the hands of twenty experienced professionals. The furniture is processed with modern machines, in modern production facilities in Kauhajoki. We design and manufacture all types of home furniture, on a contract basis and for direct consumer sales.
Our products go on sale every day all over Finland and also abroad.
Leo-Matti Ojala's enthusiasm has brought our company through half a century, but success has never rested on the shoulders of just one person. The backbone of the company is the family, employees and partners with whom we have gone through both good and challenging times.
We cherish our long relationships: we have employees in the second generation and partners in the third generation.
